The blue design is close enough to robin egg blue to be hip but far enough from it to be its own classic hue, borrowing hues from sea and sky. The plate is large and I use it for dinners that need more room like dinners with a lot of sides or a pretty platter of made fresh this morning blueberry pancakes. When dining single, it always jazzes up the look of takeout and makes my evening more cozy. I pair it with a gold charger and cream color linens from Pier One, a sea blue placemat and large mango candles from World Market. My dining table setting is as great as those in Better Homes and Garden!
