Tribest Personal Blender PB-100 Blender Review

This blender looks pretty nice, it is small, and it requires less cleaning than traditional blenders.It is also higher quality than other one cup blenders.That aside... the instructions say that you cannot put the cups into the dishwasher so you must wash by hand.The cups also have measurement marks on the side, but they are very hard to read. One cup was washed by mistake and the plastic became fuzzy.

The blender will chop full sized iced cubes, but not well, itleaves big chunks.If you crush the ice first with your fridge dispenser or with another machine, then this blender does a much better job. Tribest does sell an ice crusher attachment but not with the package I bought.

With thicker shakes content can get stuck up at the bottom of the cup. Do not shake the blender to move the stuck content down towards the blades while the machine is running, this will make the motor smell like burning rubber.Take the cup off, shake it, then put it back on the motor. Also place ice, hard stuff toward the top, close to the blades, and protein powder right at the top, the first thing to touch the blades.These tidbits are not in the instructions but are necessary to avoid excessive shaking and scraping protein powder off the side of the cup later.

The instructions also say not to run the unit for more than 60 seconds at a time with 45 seconds in between.This is probably because there is only a 200 watt motor in the thing.The problem is that 60 seconds is not enough time to blend most smoothies that have ice.

Don't get me wrong, I have used this blender everyday for ten weeks and it is still much better than a larger blender, easier to clean, less noisy, and smaller.

Oh, and the biggest benefit.Since the container is small, 16 oz there is not a lot of air that gets incorporated into the drink.In a normal sized blender the contents expand when making one drink and all that air can make you feel bloated. With this blender there is less air that can be whipped up into your single serving smoothie.

I love this blender.It looks nice.It is easy to use.It blends frozen fruit, ice and protein powder wonderfully to make a smooth smoothies-no hunks.The powder we use is full of vitamins & minerals, so if you do not blend well you get lumps and powdery taste-this blender blends everything beautifully.We make smoothies almost every morning for breakfast and in the summer, this is often our dinner as well, so we keep the blender out all the time - this is nice size so it fits on my counter nicely.It's easy to clean.Even my teenage son can use, clean and put away without any trouble.

Focus Electrics, LLC BPE3BR Blender Express Review

I started with this unit, it immediately failed, the company that's absorbed Back to Basics was quick to send me a new one in exchange for my defective one.In the meantime, I picked up the comparably priced Hamilton Beach Personal Blender.I'm now alternating the two every other day.

It's no contest.The Hamilton Beach may be a simpler and lighter, wimpier-looking machine, but it's an infinitely superior design and is deceptively powerful.It's quick, handy, and clean!With the Hamilton Beach, you're not turning the cannister upside down, screwing and unscrewing different covers on it for each use, and best off all there's no spill-over and drippage every time you use it (a good day is one on which, after using the Blender Express, I don't have goopy pants and a sticky car seat by the time I make it to the job).

Hamilton Beach Wave Crusher Blender Review

I owned a Hamilton Beach blender and food processor combo unit for over 10 years and loved it.....I used it every day until I wore it out. (I'd say a 10 year run is really a good run!) Because I loved my previous Hamilton Beach blender/food processor, I decided to look at blenders in the Hamilton Beach line again, and was very impressed at the wide selection they offer.My food processing and blending needs have increased as I have had a lot of dental work done recently, and still need more done, so I need a lot of smoothies and purees right now, so I use it more than once/day.There were no reviews for this blender on Amazon, but there were 3 reviews on WalMart's site, and everyone loved it, so I decided to give it a try.The features I wanted were 1.) Cuisinart CSB-76 Smart Stick Hand Blender Review

Well ok, maybe I am not all shook up so much as BLENDED up. I purchased this immersion blender after my older no name brand unit purchased at Wally World died in the middle of blending a pot of hot soup. I like that you can wash the blenders blade assembly in the dishwasher and the stainless steel shaft is not stained like so many of the ALL PLASTIC models. Another thing I love is the power of the unit and the sharpness of the blades; they will reduce a pot of cream of broccoli soup to a smooth consistency in nothing flat.

Oh and when I say broccoli soup folks, I MEAN broccoli soup. I put nearly two bunches of steamed broccoli in my soup and I only chunk it prior to blending with the immersion blender. This blender will puree` the soup to a perfect creamy texture in nothing flat. (Reserve a few pieces of the chunked broccoli to add back to the soup for texture purposes) I have also used it on my potato and asparagus soups with equally great results.

If you are looking for an immersion blender with lots of power and a "NO STAIN" Stainless Steel shaft then IMO, you cannot go wrong with this model from Cusinart.
