Yamazaki Bolo Pie and Cake Knife and Server Set Review

Cool contemporary design aside this is the best quality set I found anywhere and less espensive to boot.All the sets I found at the department stores were cheaply made.Their two piece design wobbled between the handle and the knife, not the Yamazaki it is strong in design and style.

Yamazaki Bolo Serving Spoon Review

The serving spoon is a great size (medium serving size with a rounded bowl measuring 2-3/8" wide and 3" long). While the handle is "Bolo," the spoon style doesn't exactly follow the rest of the Bolo set. But who would look at that? It's a nice addition to the set. It only gets a 4-star rating because of the composition: 18/8, but the whole set is 18/8.

Yamazaki Bolo 42-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 8 Review

We got this set for our wedding- and it is great!Each piece is well weighted and heavy duty.We have been putting the pieces in the dishwasher and haven't had any problem with the finish on them - they still look as great as the first day we got them.My only complaint is about the wooden tray...our first box turned out fine, but our second box we bought had a tray that was messed up in the box and had to be put back together.I have a friend who had gotten 3 different sets with messed up wooden trays.Overall, though, I think this is a high quality product!
