I have been building a set of Butterfly Meadow dishes since I bought my first pieces a couple of years ago.
This set of four is a great buy. They arrived quickly and, as with all pieces purchased thru Amazon, incredibly well packed. I will continue to buy all my pieces thru Amazon.com until my set is complete.

The picture does not do this plate justice; you should see it in person.I wanted it for display in my curio cabinet, and I am not disappointed.It is a good size for a dinner plate, but it is almost too beautiful to use for eating.Nevertheless, according to the product description, this plate is not only beautiful but practical.For me, it is a welcome addition for display only.

I couldn't resist getting just one of these bowls.It is just as pretty as I imagined.Be warned:because this bowl is porcelain, anything hot like soup will make the bowl too hot to handle unlike the Bodum rice and noodle bowls and the melamine bowls.

Is this frugal?no but I needed new bowls and the tactile experience has been superior to everything else I own
Would I have purchased this used at a cheaper price off of craigslist?no

I purchased five of these to give as gifts, along with tea, shortbread, etc. Nice mug for ladies, graceful lines with scalloped top, different butterflies and flowers on either side.My left-handed friends were happy to have decoration on "the back". Big enough (4.25" tall) to hold as much as an average thick, clunky mug.While not the fragile bone china of yesteryear, still a pleasure from which to sip.My batch of five came (surprisingly) well-packed with each mug bubble-wrapped within separate smaller (Amazon) boxes, altogether in a large box.
