Just when I think I own every piece of Franciscan Apple Cookware, China, Glasses, Stemware, Linens, and Specialty Items (like my Wall Clock), I am so pleased to find another piece. Franciscan China has been manufactured for a long time--about 15 years ago, Wedgwood China in England purchased the California Franciscan line. This Franciscan Casserole Dinnerware with Lid is perfect for use, as oven-to-tableware. However, I tend to use all my Franciscan Apple Casseroles as serving dishes for precooked food. I heat the dish in a 225-250 degree oven so that it is warm for serving. If you use this Dinnerware for baking in the oven be careful not to set the temperature too high. If you are not familiar with this pattern of dinnerware, you will be charmed by the handpainted apple design.
