This is an excellent solution if you like a small-ish (8-10 oz or less) and convenient cup of coffee in the morning.My experience is that no automatic drip maker is really designed to make a good single cup, and while I use a french press on the weekends, cleaning the screen assembly is too much hassle for a weekday morning, as is having to mind the infusion time.So the swissgold one-cup is an excellent compromise.There's no brew time to pay attention to, it's very easy to rinse everything clean under the tap, and you don't have to buy or throw away paper filters!

My only complaint (hence the 4 stars rather than 5) is that the infusion time seems very short -- the cup is usually done brewing in about a minute or less -- and the coffee does lack body as a result.I wonder if the filter might have been designed to slow down brewing a bit more.In any case, I just use a fairly fine grind, like one of the other reviewers here said, and end up with very decent coffee with a minimum of hassle.
