Farberware 12054 Select Nonstick Aluminum Twin Pack - 8" and 10" Skillet / Frying Pan (Red) Review

Okay, while these may not fend off an intruder like my trusty iron skillet, this set of Farberware non-stick frying pans is a dependable, long-lasting set of attractive cookware. Both pans feel comfortable to the grip due to proportionately-sized, tightly riveted handles with matching rubbery trim. I like the bright red color; after several years of daily use, the paint hasn't chipped yet. The ridged bottoms make for even heat dispersion and the interior finish is long-lasting and stick-free. The smaller pan is great for omelets and the larger pan can just fit two slices of bread for French toast or three large chicken filets. The only thing missing are two glass lids, but I use lids I already own instead, so no biggie there. For some reason, Amazon priced these at $8 plus shipping one Christmas (I know, huh?), so I was able to snag an excellent deal. I looked for them last Christmas, too, hoping to find a similar offer, but no dice. I'm a tightwad, but I'd still pay close to retail because it's a good product and would make for a useful and attractive wedding or housewarming gift.
