My wife got the set for Christmas and I mocked her. How could fruit stay fresh longer? What gimmick did she fall for. Turns out she was right fruit does stay fresh longer, which is why I bought the single 2 cup storage container. I like to buy a fruit bowl at Costco and it is more than I can eat. So I put a little in my container each day. In the past whatever I did not eat I threw away at the end of the day. NOw with the Produce Saver if I dont finish my daily fruit I bring it home add some more and I can not tell which is the fruit that was left over and which is the fresh fruit.
I really like, the only problem is if you dump anything out make sure you dont lose the vent at the bottom (I made this mistake once)it is not very secure.
