After trying different pastry brushes and having them fall apart, I decided to look for a silicone one. Some of them look and feel really flimsy. These are very nice, and I am happy with them, although they're still too new for me to judge their longevity. One thing you should know is that they are not one solid piece. I was hoping they were so that they wouldn't get gross the way spatulas can get. But the silicone brush part can be removed completely, and the cavity is large enough to be able to wash (unlike the spatula slits that are impossible to get clean). Overall, I think they are good.
