Kitchen Aid Cookware: Paula Deen Signature 2 Quart Traditional Polished Kettle, Stainless Steel Review

I've had this teakettle for 2 weeks now and love it.I have the other Paula Deen Enamel Red tea kettle and it does not even come close to this stainless steel model.The lid fits tight onto the top of the kettle.The red enamel one has a vent area that caused me to get my hand scalded by hot steam until I learned to aim the vent another direction.The stainless model seems a bit lighter in weight but only slightly.It goes with any decor unlike the colored models of this kettle.Other than the lid configuration they are exactly identical.Boils water quickly without a pesky whistle.I love it and would definitely recommend the stainless model over the enameled ones.If anything I think this model is an improvement.Had this one been available when I was shopping last December I would have purchased this one.The inside is stainless steel versus a black colored coating on the inside of the enameled ones.
