This rack is beautiful... we got the copper/copper and have had nothing but compliments on it. The two shelfs are wire so I was able to put my pot lids on the shelves using the spaces between the wires to hold them upright. I put my glass baking dishes on the same way. At the bottom I have my pots hanging. There were plenty of hooks that came with it. The shelves are not very deep so be cognizant of that. I was thinking I could put my larger stock pot on the shelf, but it really stuck out... so that is how I ended up with lids/cookbooks/glass bakeware.Overall, like I said, gorgeous and very functional.
