Zojirushi Supreme 3-Liter Airpot, Brushed Stainless Steel Review

Wow.I have to say that just three days in to owning this Airpot it has managed to impress me.

Yesterday morning I made a couple pots of coffee and filled the Airpot.Partially because I like coffee and wanted some to drink, but I also wanted to see how long it could keep it hot and drinkable over the number of hours I'd spend at work.

I woke up this morning and realized that I had gone to bed last night without cleaning it out, so I went to do so.

To my complete (and happy) surprise even after frequent draws yesterday, and then sitting on the counter in the kitchen over night the coffee in there was still hot enough for me to notice it wasn't cold.So I drew off a cup to check.

24 hours after filling and the coffee was still 125 degrees (F).

Dear Durbin (above) thinks he over paid for his Zojirushi, but I have a Zojirushi and I have an airpot from the discount store (I'm sure it's the one Durbin is referring to (about $29.).The Zojirushi outlasts the one from the discount store by many hours. I know I've tested them fairly! The day after I've made tea in both, the tea in the discount store pot is tepid while the tea in the Zojirushi is still piping hot.
Also, the glass in the one from the discount store just burst (a very dramatic explosion) and I'm almost glad because now I can go out and buy another of the best... the Zojirushi.And if you're thinking i am from the company, I am not. I have nothing to do with them, they just make a much better product. Something becoming all to rare in our new world...Bravo Z.

Alfi Sophie White Thermal Carafe, 8-Cup Review

This is my first Carafe of this kind so I cannot compare with any other one. This Carafe is good looking in pure white plastic - didn't look cheap. The lid is very well designed - easy to close/open and good system for liquid delivering. On bad side, they say that this pot can keep liquid hot for up to 13 hours but it's not true. In fact, coffee will stay pleasurably hot for about 3 hours - not more. I'm still satisfied about this buy regarding the very fair price.

Leifheit 1-Liter Columbus 28300 Insulated Carafe, white/black Review

This has to be the cutest thermos I've ever seen. It's an egg on legs. The thermos holds quite a bit, not a full pot of coffee, but it will hold several cups.As with any thermos, priming the chamber with the temperature you want is useful and economical. The top is easy enough to screw on and off and the seal works great for keeping the temperature in. It pours without dripping, which is a plus and splatters just a bit, if over extended.
I would recommend this cute little number to anyone who wants to have coffee out on the deck without having to run back inside for refills.
