IMCG SimmerMat Review

This is the best heat diffuser ever. Great to slowly cook food for a long time over low heat. I never could get low heat on my stove, now it's possible with this great mat. We also use it to keep food warm without burning, like spaghetti sauce etc.
A tool every cook should have.

Kuhn Rikon 11-Inch Energy Saver/Flame Protector Review

This is one of those must have's..

I have big to medium burners on my stove, (gas) when I want something to simmer just a little for a long time, this is a must.
It keeps my soups, stews etc. from burning. gives a more even heat, and I have Calphalon commercial cookware.
It keeps my stove cleaner, from foods that might boil over, or splatter.

If you have a stove with smaller burners, the flame will spread out farther underneath for a more even cooking.

This one says it's non-stick, which looks better then what I have!
I bought mine at William Sonoma, and Calphalon only makes it for them.
But mine is the same size, same price.
Years ago I had one that was a smaller size, and cast iron, this one is bigger and more even heat.

Just remember when using this, it will take a bit longer to heat up your pots, and do not touch it with out using a pot holder.
It stays HOT for a long time.

Aluminum Heat Diffuser Simmer Plate with Removable Handle Review

The good news is: this product keeps food from sticking to flimsy pots.The bad news is: I couldn't get the sticker off the bottom of it, so it burned and smelled bad.More annoying: the metal of the simmer plate itself seems to flake and burn, leaving charred bits on the stove.

great product, it really works well, no more burnt food on the bottom of your pot. This is an exellent item to give to your friends; it will amaze them. I am also using it with my pressure cooker, couldn't live without it. I wish it would come in a larger size as well.

Kuhn Rikon Energy 9-nch Saver/Flame Protector Review
