Paula Deen 2 Quart Double Boiler Set, Stainless Steel Review

I have been looking for a double boiler.Of course I wanted one that was good quality, but not to pricey.I looked around where I live because I wanted to look at it, but we have really big ones.I was want to use it for candy and making frosting, so you see I just didn't need anything so big.This double boiler is top of the line in quality and the perfect size.I thought the price was a little more than I wanted to spend, but once I received it and used it.I decided it wasn't to high.It was perfect for my frosting and clean up was super easy.I highly recommend this pan.I will also be taking a look at some of Paula Dean's other cookware.

Paula Deen 9 Inch Stoneware Pie Baker, Green Review

I bought this as a gift for my wife.She loves it!She wanted a classy looking dish for not only baking, but also presentation as well.She is proud to carry her baked goods to events at friends houses, etc. in this pan.

Definitely recommend.

Paula Deen 3.5 Quart Porcelain Covered Round Casserole, Burgundy Review

This is a beautiful and heavy 3.5 quart dutch oven/casserole.It can be used on the stovetop or in the oven.It's so pretty, I will for sure serve soups and stews right from the pan! The color is a deep graduated cranberry and the inside is a nice cream color .It is cast iron coated with high quality porcelain.You cannot put this in the microwave, but it can do everything else.It's really nice to have a pan (finally) that can be moved frow stovetop to oven and vice versa.Thanks Paula!This is beautiful, useful cookware and the color is just lovely.It also comes with three of Paula's famous recipes.

I really can't add much to the four reviews already posted, other than I love it and can hardly wait to use it, and the other two pieces I purchased from Amazon.Plus, I oredered a second loaf pan and a pie baker from Kohl's this afternoon during their 5 hour sale today.Like one other reviewer, I am looking for more recipes to try in these bakers.I love them!

Paula Deen 9 Inch x 5 Inch Stoneware Loaf Pan, Green Review

I've been wanting this pan for a while now, so when I found it on sale for $8.50 at a retail store I had to buy it.It's beautiful, brown on the inside and olive on the outside.I would have no reservations setting it on the table for company.For the maiden voyage I just made a loaf of cinnamon bread, and it rose and browned wonderfully.Since the description only spoke of quick breads I was hesitant, but if you're a yeast bread baker buy this pan!The only downside is that it's made in China (but most things are these days), so I hope that the quality control is strict because it is glazed and I wouldn't want any toxic colorants to be used in the glaze.(I bought this to get away from my aluminum loaf pans, so I really don't want to trade one toxin for another.)

Paula Deen 9 Inch x 13 Inch Stoneware Baker, Green Review

This is a great baking dish that is as pretty as it is functional. I love the depth of this baker - no spillovers! Because it is stoneware, you will need to use caution when transferring it between hot and cold environments and surfaces.It is dishwasher safe, but I found it took quite a while to completely dry because of the pourous bottom surface; I may opt to hand wash it in the future.

I ordered this baker and the PD casserole dish and both arrived intact and were extremely well packaged. My casserole dish has an ill-fitting lid and would get a lower rating.

Paula Deen Signature 12-pc. Stainless Steel Cookware Set Review

I was going to get the KitchenAid stainless set, since it was highly rated by Consumer Reports. I was going to, that is, until I saw this set in Target next to it.

The copper is gorgeous and something you usually only see on much more expensive sets. Something important you must do when you get them out of the box is soak them in a baking soda solution for 20 min to get the copper ready for heat.

The pots are stainless inside and out, while the pans are nonstick. I personally like this, but also wish it came with, or gave the option to buy, a stainless pan.

I bought this set along with the 12 inch pan. The wooden utensil sets are also very attractive and I got them too.

I'm upgrading from my first $40 Wal-Mart set of pots and pans, and I couldn't be happier. I need to find a place to hang them in my kitchen, they're too pretty for the cabinet!
