Rosle Zester Review

I own this Rosle zester, and like many of its other Rosle relatives which are in my possession, it comes in a sophisticated and beautiful looking, stainless steel.

However, I didn't find this quite up to par with the other Rosle products.I found the zester to be quite dull, forcing me to really dig into the fruit to obtain usable pieces.And even upon such digging, I was unable to produce long strips of zest, unlike other zesters which I have used.So now, I simply use my microplane grater instead as a substitute.

Save yourself some money, and skip this dull zester.

Rosle Pepper Mill Review

I bought this product when I was living overseas in Europe, didn't seem too special since it was just at an average household store.

But I've grown to love this unit. Its metal construction means that it does not damage if exposed to heat, it cleans up to a near new appearance every time. Coarseness selection is easy and it is as smooth and precise feeling as when I originally bought it. I have since bought it for gifts for others. Highly recommended.

Rosle Apple Cutter Review

This is not the average thin, wimpy apple slicer you may have seen. It is Rosle quality in every detail, down to the hole to hang it and the small center area for the core (so you get ALL the apple.) It cuts promptly thru the largest apple in even slices. The raised handles make it easy to use, even for weaklings. Dishwasher safe. Highly recommended.

Rosle Right-Handed Swivel Peeler Review

Several reviewers have complained that you have to order a lefty peeler if you a right-handed and vice versa.Here in Germany, most people peel towards themselves, as if they are paring a fruit. That's the way this peeler is supposed to be used, and the position of the little scooper allows you to quickly remove potato eyes and other unwanted bits. I find it gives you more control over your peeling. Try it, you'll get used to it quickly and never want to go back to your away-from-you peeler again. This peeler is great for potatoes, just hold it against the potato and rotate. It is sturdy and you can replace the blades if they dull (mine haven't yet and my peeler is about 6 years old and in heavy use). You can get replacement blades too. Williams and Sonoma makes a peeler like this as well but it is far inferior. You won't regret this purchase!
If you are not willing to try peeling towards yourself instead of away, I suggest you don't get either the left or right-handed swivel peeler, but the universal one instead.

Rosle 12808 Antibacterial Cleaning Brush Review

This is the best brush ever. Totally worth the money, and I thought it was very expensive for a brush ($20). I was so sick of buying a new dishbrush every 3 months because it would be gross and have food particles in it, even after a run through the dishwasher. :) It scrubs the food off your plates/pots/bowls VERY well and then the best part is the food that normally would have stuck and stayed in any of my old Walmart brushes goes down the drain as well. I cook every night and it is used very often. I have young kids who eat oatmeal and smear it everywhere...and it comes out with that brush no problem with no remaining chunks. It works great with cheese and bread dough as well, also keeping those chunks out of the brush. I have now had it for 4 months and it still looks and acts brand new. AWESOME Product!
