LIVESTRONG by Chantal 12 Ounce Snack Bowl, Glossy Golden Yellow Review

I bought these thinking I was buying one (I shopped too fast), so I was pleasantly surprised when 4 bowls showed up. I really like them -- deep, good size, bright, cheerful for mornings, good message.

They don't fit well in our dishwasher, which had led to some grousing, but the benefits outweigh the complaints by far.

Calypso Basics, 44201, 12 Piece Enamel On Steel Bowl Set With Lids, Lemon Review

I have a blue set of these bowls that I've had since at least 2001 & they're absolutely great! Because they are ceramic lined you can put hot or cold food inside without worry of any chemicals leaching into the food or any off-flavors developing. You can use them for prep & mixing and also storage with the tight fitting lids.

I ordered this 2nd set (in yellow so I know which are old and which are new) because I find that often when I want to use one I already have it in use holding something tasty in the fridge. Also, about 2 years ago one of the lids ripped in the dishwasher,and I lost another to the kitchen gremlins, so I don't have lids for all of the old set anymore. I don't think you're supposed to put the lids or bowls in the dishwasher, but I've been cleaning them that way for 9 years with no problems until the one lid ripped after 7 or so years of washing them that way.

The bowls are also attractive enough to use for serving during casual meals or when taking a dish to a pot-luck.

All in all a very useful and long-lasting set of bowls for both prep, presentation, and storage. Highly recommend!

Waechtersbach Fun Factory 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 4 Review

I love this Waechtersbach dinnerware, but Amazon shows a cereal bowl in the picture, and says in the description that the set includes the cereal bowl, but that is not true. The set includes a 8 1/2 inch soup plate, NOT a cereal bowl. Both picture and description are wrong! I also ordered some of the individual place settings, and they also have the soup plate, not the cereal bowl as pictured. So the dinnerware gets 5 stars, but Amazon gets 1 star for not having the correct picture and description.
