Ginsu 4 Piece Stainless Steak Knife Set Review

I'd been dealing with a steak knife set that I hadn't been happy with for a while.Remembering how well the original Ginsu knives had worked, I did some searching and came across this stainless steel set.I took the plunge and ordered a dozen knives, at this price if they were garbage, I'd throw them out.They arrived today and I must say I was quite impressed at the look and feel of them.They have a heftiness to them I was glad to feel, unlike the lightweight set I was about to discard.I tested them on some leftover steak I had in the fridge....they cut it like butter!I'm delighted beyond belief.Sure you can spend 10 times this amount on steak knives, but I doubt you will find ones that do the job better.Looks, feel, quality and a bargin basement price. Trust me!

These are great knives.I have thrown out all of the other flimsy steak knives that I have used in the past.These are a great value and would recommend them to anyone who wants a good steak knife without the extra bulk of a large knife.

Mundial 5100 Series 4-Inch Steak Knife with Serrated Edge, Black Review

I have had these Mundial Knives from Brazil for about 10 years.They are my favorite knives to use.They feel balanced in your hand though they have a nice weight.The serrated edge cuts through anything.Great for cutting fat away from a steak.My wife did put them in the dishwasher though and of course rust stains appeared.A little brillo and they are back in shape to be hand washed and dried.The four inch blade is just the right size for me though some people may want something larger.My wife and I sometimes even use these as utility knife.Mundial also makes a nonserrated knife as well.

Chicago Cutlery Walnut Signature 7-Piece Steak Knife Set with Block Review

The blades are really sharp, a wonderful replacement for my old knives. Chicago Cutlery is quality cutlery. The only criticism, if there is one, is that the handles could have been sanded a little more.

Global 4-Piece Steak Knife Set Review

We had purchased some of the other Global knives and we very impressed with the quality & construction, but kept putting off buying the steak knives wondering if it was worth the price.You know, they are steak knives.How good can they be? After getting the first four, I have to say these are one of the best knives in the Global line! (The 3-1/2" paring is amazing as well)
