I've been looking for a long time for a nice, flat serving spoon and was delighted to find this gem! I've used smaller, deep serving spoons in the past but when you're serving casseroles and other dishes that require a "heaping" serving, this spoon can't be beat! The spoon is nice and wide, and more importantly, nice and flat. If anything, it resembles and ice cream paddle but is "dressier" and more appropriate for the dinner table.
