Wow, pan is so deep and large even our largest turkey would fit!Great finish for easy cleanup.This pan will be used over and over again during the holidays and during canning season.A family keeper for sure.

I am now ready to buy anything that Pillivuyt makes!It bakes beautifully and cleans up like a snap.Forget the old fashioned bakers we got from our mothers--pillivuyt, although more expensive, will be the heirloom baker of the future.But be careful...it can break but only if you drop it onto a hard surface.

CorningWare French White 23-Ounce Oval Dish Review

Product chips very easily.I banged one dish into another when putting it back in the cupboard, and it chipped.My old corningware (shadow iris pattern) is much hardier.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the lid is difficult to secure.I've mastered it, but my 12 year old can't seem to figure it out.I do really like the lids and the steam vent for microwaving food, especially beans.My microwave is much cleaner now that beans don't explode in it regularly.I also appreciate how these stack on top of each other when storing multiple containers in the fridge.That was always a downside of the larger corningware casserole dishes with glass lids.

I would prefer a slightly deeper dish, like the old 24 oz containers (with the handles and the poorly-fitting plastic lids), but this works.It does make a great single-serving leftover dish.

I am concerned these dishes won't be very durable, so I am not certain I would purchase these again.
