CorningWare French White Pop-Ins 8-Piece Round Bake and Serve Set Review

The cups a great for soups and other dining liquids. The bowls are Great also. I take care of my 82 year old grandmother & she just love how she can take a can of soup and poor it into the cup, cook it in the microwave then what she does not finish she can up the lid on and put it in the refrigerator. When she wants it again just take out of the frig. and put it directly in the microwave. Clean up is good also only on problem with them and that would be the lids. After a little time the plastic exsorbet a red tint from tomato based products. Other then this I'm buying them for all my friends as Christmas presents.

CorningWare SimplyLite 6-Piece Bakeware Set Review

These corning ware sets are much lighter weight than the
traditional ones.I got a set for my mother in law who
can't lift very well anymore. My set and hers have different
serving holders, mine are a little clunky, it would be
easy for the dish to come out if you didn't hold the
handles just right. Overall though they seem durable
are easy to wash and are handy to have around.

CorningWare French White 23-Ounce Oval Dish Review

Product chips very easily.I banged one dish into another when putting it back in the cupboard, and it chipped.My old corningware (shadow iris pattern) is much hardier.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the lid is difficult to secure.I've mastered it, but my 12 year old can't seem to figure it out.I do really like the lids and the steam vent for microwaving food, especially beans.My microwave is much cleaner now that beans don't explode in it regularly.I also appreciate how these stack on top of each other when storing multiple containers in the fridge.That was always a downside of the larger corningware casserole dishes with glass lids.

I would prefer a slightly deeper dish, like the old 24 oz containers (with the handles and the poorly-fitting plastic lids), but this works.It does make a great single-serving leftover dish.

I am concerned these dishes won't be very durable, so I am not certain I would purchase these again.

CorningWare French White 1-3/4-Quart Loaf Dish Review

The extra depth and weight of this loaf dish make it easy to let breads rise higher (without going over) and the stoneware makes it bake very evenly.It is easy to get stuff out (I use a little PAM).
I bought two and I am very pleased.
(Plus they are attractive enough to server in!)

CorningWare French White 5-Piece Bake and Serve Set Review

My daughter broke the last of my original CorningWare set I'd had for 30 years. (I got it young, ok?) I was looking specifically for cookware that would stack, since space is a concern. Having only to deal with a single glass lid that fits more than one pot is a definite plus. The storage lid and serving cradle are nice bonuses, as far as I'm concerned.

The price was good as was the quality I've come to expect from CorningWare.

I actually had one of the pieces in this set, which I used all the time, but it had gotten broken.The piece I needed to replace was the one and one-half quart oval dish.I am pleased to also get the larger oval dish as I think that will be very useful for larger casseroles when entertaining.
