My husband is Polish.The pan i have been using came from his mother.It was old and fell apart.This pan is a great replacement.It will be use every Sunday for brunch.

VillaWare V5225 Crepe Maker Review

I grew up in a Crepe lovin' household. We had sweet crepes for breakfast, savory crepes for lunch and meat filled crepes for dinner.
I always have used a stove top crepe pan and thought it slow and kind of a pain. That is how my dad always did it so I always thought it was the best way.
Not anymore. A friend recommended I try the Villaware electric crepe maker. Non stick coating, quick and easy. Boy were they right. Just dip the the cooker in the pan they include and you are making a crepe every 25 seconds or so. Easy to clean. I love this thing. Good recipes too, altough their basic recipe is not sweet enough.
If you love crepes. This is the piece to get.

Chrome Tibos Electric Crepe Maker -10103 [World Cuisine] Review

We have used this of course to make crepes (takes some getting used to using the wooden tools- but keep at it.Our first few crepes looked more like Swiss cheese, we've gotten way better at it now!)We also use it to make French toast, pancakes and gas house eggs.Next up we are going to try making tortillas.The recipe book that comes with it has lots of great ideas.We like it a lot because it is easy to use and doesn't take a lot of oil which makes things a lot healthier.

World Cuisine 13-Inch Diameter Tibos Electric Crepe Maker (10103) Review

I have used this product twice and I am very impressed with the uniform cooking of this Crepe maker.The large 13" nonstick surface makes perfect crepes everytime... no more throwing out the first crepe!The plactic spreading device makes it easy to evenly spread the batter for beginners.The crepe maker is much more substantial than the picture shows, in my opinion.I found the suggested thermostat settings a little too hot causing the crepes to brown too quickly but, after lowering the temperature, I was knocking out multiple banana/Nutella crepes in a matter of minutes.The results are much more like the crepes I got in Paris than ones I've made in a crepe pan.

Just used this pan for the first time, and every crepe came out perfectly.The instructions said to brown some vegetable peelings in it before using it the first time, then clean with hot water and NO soap.I did this, and if anything the pan outperformed non-stick ones I'm used to.By the way, the secret to making great crepes is to let the batter rest for an hour or more before cooking.A good way to dry non-stainless cookware like this is to put it back on the burner for a short time after washing.Highly recommended.
