WMF Satin Steel and Glass Sugar Bowl Review

I was looking for a sugar pourer like the ones you'd find at a diner. This one isn't it.

It looks nice, but what the description doesn't tell you is that it only pours a half a teaspoon at a time, by design.A little tube down the middle measures the dosage, and if you want more than a half teaspoon, you've got to flip the whole thing over and fill up the little tube again.

Lets say you want three teaspoons of sugar in your coffee, you'll have to flip this stupid little thing up and down six times to make a cup!

Furthermore, the tube doesn't fill well if the bowl is less than half full.So often you'll get less than a half teaspoon! [...]

WMF Profi Plus Stainless Steel Double Wheel Pizza Cutter Review

Not many people can rationalize spending twenty dollars on a pizza cutter, but I previously worked at a pizzeria and often make gourmet pizzas at home. This cutter is sharp and rarely requires multiple cuts to slice through all of the crust. It is really useful on those thick pizzas, like spinach and feta. Plus it looks pretty cool hanging on the wall behind your cutting board. I almost never use it for any non-pizza cooking, and a heavy, sharp knife works almost as well. However, it's a fun item, and if you find yourself looking for a nice gift for somebody who makes a lot of pizza, I definitely recommend it.

WMF Profi Plus Digital Thermometer Review

I bought this as the 4th item in my 4 for 3 promotion.I wasn't explicitly looking for a food thermometer but since I could leverage the promotion by getting it I thought to myself why not.The construction like most WMF products is top notch. Its very easy to handle and easily goes into meat.I have used it a few times on steak and a few times with other meats and have been pleased with the results. The accuracy is stated to be within 1 degree and I have not seen any results to make me disbelieve this claim.I am unsure whether I would have spent this much money on a thermometer by itself, but as part of the promotion its a no brainer.

WMF Basics 5-Piece Nonstick Gadget Set with Wire Utensil Basket Review

This is a very handsome set on my countertop. The tools are very well-made and have exceptionally comfortable and sturdy handles. My favorites are the omelet turner and the ball whisk, which makes whipping up gravy on the stove a breeze. The little hooks on the exterior of the basket canister are very useful for a peeler, measuring spoons, etc.. Happy with this set. Kudos to WMF.
