My dear wife, Yen-shou, is a gourmet cook, lucky for me!We just received this terrific 8.5 qt. casserole (we use it for soups).It is better than anything we have used in the past.It is perfectly flat and hugs the electric cooktop the way it should, so no heat escapes around the sides.It is large enough for our soups without spilling over. The design is superior, glass cover with of all things--a vent hole with Martha's logo.It is perfect in every way and very fairly priced.
