In the market for a good tea kettle?Then look no further.
When the time came for me to get a tea kettle, this was the one I looked for.I grew up with this one in the house, and it's just as great for my needs.Ok, being single, 3.5 quarts may be a bit bigger then I normally use, but I just add as much water as I need and set it on the stove.The water heats quickly.Steam sets off a whistle in the spout, and it can be heard with ease in any part of the house.
I looked at other Revere kettles, but found their handles and spout openers to be rather flimsy.Not so, here.This kettle will last for quite awhile.
As always, Revere has made a wonderful product.It's so easy, even this bachelor has no problem heating water.

Bonjour 2 Quart Stainless Steel Teakettle with Copper Bottom Review

I love this teakettle! We drink a lot of tea at our house, so this is used everyday. It's a heavy weight, beautifully designed kettle and I hope to have it around for many, many years to come.

The only thing it's missing is a whistle. I tend to wander off and do other things rather than sitting and watching the water boil. This means I now have to set a clock timer that beeps once and I better hear it or I'm in trouble! The kettle comes with a warning that due to it's superior heat retention, you can not overboil it as it may fuse to the top of your glass cooktop (which I have). So, BonJour- how about creating a whistle you can stick into the neck when you use it? Send it to those of us who have already purchased your product as a gift and start putting one inside the boxes of future purchases. That or at least sell one as an accessory for the kettle.

And one more thing- packaging. I know it's cheaper to use cellophane tape to hold the lid onto the kettle for shipping, but it leaves sticky residue on the gorgeous stainless steel. This isn't a cheap product, and the cellophane tape screams WALMART. Use something with less mess, like s strip of stretch wrap, that looks worthy of being on a pricey teakettle.

Le Creuset Enameled Steel Zen Tea Kettle Review

This is a great kettle which will look stylish and elegant on any stove.It does exactly what it says it does - it boils water quickly, whistles when it is ready and keeps the water hot for quite a while afterwards. In response to the reviewer who gave it two stars and warned it was DANGEROUS if overfilled and used on a gas stove, I had to laugh.Don't overfill it, it is pretty simple and obvious.And who are all these friends and family you keep having stay over that keep over filling it too?Maybe you should of bought a bigger kettle if you have that many friends and family who like hot water.This kettle easily boils a quart of water quickly.As yet I have never needed more than that no matter who is visiting.As usual with Le Creuset goods,this is not cheap - but you get what you pay for.The colours of are vibrant and fantastic - I was torn between the bright blue and cherry and went for the latter and I love it.

Paula Deen Signature 2 Quart Traditional Polished Kettle, Stainless Steel Review

I've had this teakettle for 2 weeks now and love it.I have the other Paula Deen Enamel Red tea kettle and it does not even come close to this stainless steel model.The lid fits tight onto the top of the kettle.The red enamel one has a vent area that caused me to get my hand scalded by hot steam until I learned to aim the vent another direction.The stainless model seems a bit lighter in weight but only slightly.It goes with any decor unlike the colored models of this kettle.Other than the lid configuration they are exactly identical.Boils water quickly without a pesky whistle.I love it and would definitely recommend the stainless model over the enameled ones.If anything I think this model is an improvement.Had this one been available when I was shopping last December I would have purchased this one.The inside is stainless steel versus a black colored coating on the inside of the enameled ones.

WMF 1 1/2-Quart Stainless Steel Ball Shaped Tea Kettle with Infuser Review

I had seen a kettle just like this one at a friend's house---but a 3 quart size---and was inspired to order one. . When I received the 1 1/2 quart kettle, I was disappointed at first. Then after checking the WMF website, I discovered they no longer make the 3 quart size.My friend had bought his from a dealer and it was obviously an older model. I have realized know that 1 1/2 quart is large enough for mostrequirements of boiling water.
If I need more, I can just bring out my larger kettle.This kettle is a work of art and looks great on the stove.
