I purchased this pan to replace an older one of the same size. My main uses are steaming rice, cooking ramen noodles, heating frozen spinach, etc. The build quality of the pan is excellent, very heavy base and the silicone handle is a nice touch (although it should extend a bit farther down the handle). However, the lid is what bothers me. The rivets that hold the handle on are sandwiched between some type of silicone glue, but on my pan the glue was squished out and I could pick at it with my fingers. Not what I would expect from a 'name brand' pot. I ended up taking an x-acto knife and cutting it all away for fear of it coming lose in my food. Not a huge deal, but it worth noting. Pros:
Nice quality polished stainless
Great looking pot
Silicone insulation is nice
Heavy weight, thick base
Cons:
Poor quality construction on the lid
Insulation could be more expansive on the handle
If the two cons were out of the picture, this would be a 5-star pot. Would I purchase another one? Probably.
