My seven year old son has recently become fascinated with dinosaurs...and cooking.I saw and purchased this for that reason.He loves it.As the previous reviews stated, it is heavy duty, functional and fun...so I love it too.

Calphalon Vegetable Peeler Review

I'm quickly becoming a big fan of Calphalon.I picked this peeler up because I couldn't find the one we had.I just used it and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised at how easilly it peels.The blade is long and freely rotates.I'm no engineer, but I think the shape really helps.I paid about the same amount for my last peeler, but it got the peel stuck in it constantly because it peeled so thick.This peeling is refreshing to use.The peels are very thin and it works very quickly.This is probably the last peeler I'll ever own.

Lodge Pro-Logic Pre-Seasoned 10-Inch Skillet Review

I've been cooking with cast iron for over 3 decades and now have more than 30 pieces.I ordered this skillet because of the sloped sides, but have come to love the shape of the handle as well.Add in the assist handle and this is an incredible pan.At 8 pounds, it is heavy, but that weight helps it heat evenly.I rarely prepare omlets, but fried eggs with cheese and salsa work well in this pan as does reheating food in the oven.The pre-seasoned finish is great, but clean it according to Lodge's recommendations, or you'll have to re-season it.
