Nordic Ware Fairytale Cottage Bundt Pan Review

For those of us without unlimited time to bake, particularly during the holidays, this pan offers a solution for creating a charming highly detailed gingerbread house. You can bake these cakes for gifts or parties with ease. Because the pan is so highly detailed, the cake needs little else but a sprinkle of powdered sugar and you're done. Just a couple of tips:be sure to liberally spray the pan with Baker's Joy (cooking spray that includes flour.) Turn the pan upside down to drain over paper towels while making the batter. For the most detailed result use a thick cake batter -- numerous free bundt cake recipes may be found on the various search engines -- some that adapt cake mixes and some cakes from scratch -- the best batter is different from the normally prepared cake mix (usually more eggs and less liquid). Finally, be sure to let the cake cool upright in the pan for 15 minutes before attempting to unmold. The pan should last a lifetime if metal utensils and harsh scouring pads are avoided.

Nordic Ware Pro Cast Castle Bundt Pan Review

I love this pan.From the first time I saw it displayed in the kitchen store, surrounded by raw sugar "sand" and a pail and shovel, I was charmed.My imagination took hold and I had to have it.

First of all, it bakes up just like any other bundt cake, so long as you get each nook and cranny of the pan interior with flour-added cooking spray.(It's right there on the grocer's shelf next to the regular spray.)If you do that one simple step, I guarantee that this cake will release from the pan perfectly every time!I like yellow cake for that sandy color - no need to frost this cake!Oh, and take care not to over-fill the pan... make a few extra cupcakes if you need to with any leftover batter.

Presentation options are endless!I use turbinado sugar "sand", sprinkled all over, and chocolate rocks for a natural look.I've added chocolate seashells for a beachy look, and once sugar cookie starfish...On another version, fondant "ladybugs" and "butterflies" frolicked about the castle walls.Don't forget to add flags to the turrets, especially if it's someone's birthday cake!Most of all, have fun and enjoy the compliments!

Nordic Ware Butterfly Muffin Pan Review

This pan is great. I didn't use the manufacturers recommended baking spray as it's not available where I live so I just used melted butter and dusted it with flour, but they still popped out perfectly with a tap on the bottom with perfect detail. My daughter loves them.

Nordic Ware Pro Cast Castles Cakelette Pan Review

I collect these pans.And just like the rest of the Nordicware Platinum Bakeware this pan produces great results. To get the detail on the Princess Palace towers I used a pastry bag to pipe the batter into the small cavities. I used a Pumpkin Bread recipe baked at 350 drgrees for 35 minutes.PERFECT!
