Nordic Ware Pro Form Heavyweight 12 Cup Bundt Pan Review

I have used this Bundt cake pan more than two dozen times with perfect results every time. I also have the more expensive "Platinum" series pan and besides the lighter construction of this pan, there doesn't seem to be any difference in the cake it produces. I have used both pans at the same time, in the same oven, and the cakes come out the same. Additionally, whether merely greased, or greased and floured, the cakes release easily and they clean up easily with hand washing. I have never turned out a flawed cake with this pan and I expect it will last and oerform well for years.

Nordic Ware Danish Ebleskiver Pan Review

We have used this pan every weekend for a year.Don't bother making mix from scratch - Hungry Jack's "just add water" pancake mix makes wonderfully light and fluffy Ebelskivers. We add blueberries and raspberries to our Ebelskivers (fresh in season, frozen but thawed in warm water the rest of the year).

Yes, it is nonstick but I find a little butter is necessary to keep the Ebelskivers from sticking if they have fruit in them, plus the butter is essential to taste, in my opinion. I add a small, thin slice of butter to the bottom of each Ebelskiver hole once it's hot (heat over low or medium low heat).Once the butter melts, add batter to each hole to just slightly below the hole's rim (beware, center hole heats quickest, so add butter to that hole last and add batter to that hole first).Now add fruit or jelly to center until batter rises to rim or just above the rim.

Once brown on bottom, use a small silicone heat resistant spatula to flip the Ebelskivers over.While the flip takes a little practice, it is easy to catch on to.Trust me, guests and family will be impressed with these unusual breakfast treats AND will be amazed at the taste!We top our Ebelskivers with real maple or blueberry syrup and a small dollop of whipped cream ("Reddy Wip" make not be haute cuisine, but it sure tastes good!).

NOTE ABOUT CAST IRON: We also own a cast iron Ebelskiver pan, which we hate. No matter how many times I've tried to season and oil the pan, the Ebelskivers stick - which ruins the Ebelskivers.Plus, I have a bad neck which is irritated by trying to use caste iron, which is very heavy and difficult to use for making Ebelskivers.Just be sure to wash the nonstick pan by hand and don't use forks or other metal utensils to turn the Ebelskivers.

Bought this to make monkey bread because my bundt pan's crevices made it too difficult to clean after baking the sticky bread.The design of the Kuglehopf pan is softly rounded, so the monkey bread bakes into the peaks and valleys of the design.It bakes evenly and the bread easily falls away from the pan when cooked.We spray the pan each time before use, and it rinses clean after use.For our purposes, this pan is perfect.

Nordic Ware Round Cooling Rack with Feet 12 Inch Diameter Review

I had some round cake cooling racks but alas after all these year some of the wires were coming off and another reason for ordering...I only had two round racks. Sometimes I bake 3 round layers and I hate wrestling with the oblong racks for a round cake.

Was I surprised when these arrived. Large than my old pair...will hold the largest cake I'll ever bake..13" in diameter and teflon coated. I am delighted with the price and quality (what can you expect from Nordic?) of these mundane cake racks. Fast shipment also!

What's not to like? This is the classiest bundt pan I've ever seen. Most people are unfamiliar with this particular bundt pan design, so it always makes a great impression at bake sales or even at dinner parties.There is no more work involved than in baking a plain cake -- and the results are spectacular. Take care to liberally spray the pan with Baker's Joy (cooking spray with flour combination) and use a thick batter to pick up all the design details. There are lots of free bundt cake recipes on line in the various search engines -- some that adapt cake mixes or if you prefer, are from scratch creations. Just be sure that after baking you let the cake cool upright in the pan for 15 minutes before attempting to unmold.And, the pan will last a lifetime if metal utensils and harsh scouring pads are avoided. No frosting is necessary - just a light sprinkle of powdered sugar and you are done.

Norpro 11.5 Inch Dutch Baby Pan Review

The pan worked great for my Dutch Baby pancakes.I did use a plastic utensil to remove it from the pan and it still got scratched my first time out.Be careful, the pan coating isn't extremely tough.
