Microwave Ramen Cooker Review

YES!

At last!A way to cook ramen in the microwave so that it comes out tasting like you cooked it on the stovetop!

The cooker is large enough to hold 2 packs of ramen at once and is suitable for cooking additional ingredients like eggs freshly cracked right on top of the ramen brick.

After 7 minutes in the microwave, it's hot and steamy enough to stir a raw egg in and have egg drop ramen.

I use chives myself.^^

Clean up is easy and the ramen flavoring doesn't stain.

My favorite feature is only present in the other model available from eKitron though.It would have to be the fact it has a miso spork that's perfect for eating ramen and it fits conveniently right inside the lid.^^

I haven't tried this particular model, but it's made by the same company and is more than likely of the same high quality.You can compare and contrast at eKitron.com.

Nesco BJ-6 Jerky Spice Works, 6-Pack, Original Flavor Review

We tried the Nesco Teriyaki and Nesco Hot/Spicy seasonings, but really preferred the "ORIGINAL" flavor.

Our favorite thing to do with it is make the beef jerky with ground beef. I even got my boyfriend to use the beef jerky gun.

Single serving packets, no measuring required. Open packs, mix with ground beef, put meat in extruder gun, squeeze onto drying racks. BAM! Good to go!Well in about 6-8 hours (give or take).

If you are trying to decide which seasonings to buy, go with the Original flavor, it really is the best.

Progressive International Microwaveable Rice Cooker Set Review

I bought this for one reason; so my buddy in the Army who is flying around in the desert can make himself and his crew a meal without them having to walk the damned mile from their quarters to the chow hall.

I researched microwavable rice cookers and this one fit the bill because of 1)price, 2)size (can fit in a very small microwave), and 3) capacity. It also provided good value because of the measuring cup and spoon provided.

I shipped this to Iraq (via USPS APO) along with some bags of Jasmine Rice, Pouches of Chicken breast meat, Cans of Coconut Milk and baby corn, an envelope of "Taste of Thai" peanut sauce mix, and my recipe for "Chicken and Baby Corn in peanut sauce over jasmine rice" (which as you might imagine involved mixing and heating everything but the rice, then dumping it over the rice.)

IT WAS A HUGE HIT, and it's not like these knuckleheads (I say that with all due fondness and respect) can cook. So bottom line, this thing would be perfect for a Soldier in the field or a college student in a dorm room.

Progressive International Microwaveable Rice/Pasta Cooker Set Review

I bought this product almost a yr ago. Its great for cooking in the dorms where your only appliance is a microwave. I couldnt eat the dorm food and this allowed me to cook pasta in my room. I wish i hadnt lost my package insert, that told me the cooking times for everything, so if anyone else goes out and buys this, do us all a favor and post it, eh?I liked that it gave cooking times for steaming veggies, pasta and rice; I LOVED how easy it was to clean. This is a MUST for any one going away to school, and makes a GREAT graduation gift.

Innova Classicor Wrought-Iron Oval Pot Rack Review

I bought this product through Amazon after shopping eBay and finding higher prices on the same exact item.The hardware was all included and it looks very nice.It's very heavy duty and functional and I was very pleased with the appearance and functionality.I am a Pampered Chef consultant and I love knowing that my expensive professional cookware is safe from scratches and the glass lids I store above the grid.Now I just need to figure out where to get Extra Hooks for this model, and I would be very pleased.I highly recommend this item.

UPDATE: After 2.5 years, the product is still as great as when we bought it.It looks nice, is functional, etc.We love it.

Update 2: We have had this product for about 5 years and still haven't had a single issue. It's still durable, functional, and looks nice. So glad we chose this particular rack.

American Kitchen 10-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set Review

Anyone who, like me, is new to cooking with stainless steel needs to do a thorough job researching their options before buying. This is a great set, but if I had to do it over, I would probably go for anodized or nonstick just because of my personal preferences. As another reviewer states, food tends to stick and some things just can not be cooked in the stainless pans, like fried potatoes. Forget trying to cook with very little oil or just cooking spray as you can with nonstick. The pans tend to discolor and stain so a special cleaner like barkeeper's friend is required. I'm sure these will be extremely durable and they do distribute heat really well. I contacted their customer service with my questions about this set and an actual person contacted me and exchanged several e-mails - personally answering my questions in a timely manner. I was very impressed by their customer service! Overall, I'd recommend this product, but only to those who know they want stainless and are more adept at cooking with it than I am!
