This bamboo steamer is just the right size if you like to steam large quantities of food. I had a 10 inch steamer for many years and it finally wore out. I decided to get the next size and I'm happy I did.

Aroma ARC-998 16-Cup Cool Touch Digital Rice Cooker, Stainless Review

I purchased my Aroma rice cooker at Target as I love rice.I originally bid on a much more expensive one on ebay but was outbid even at $120.Anyhow, I was at Target, saw this one and thought...what the heck.I followed directions to make 4 cups of brown rice.I hit the brown rice button and that was it.One hour and 45 minutes later I ate what I consider to be the best brown rice I have ever had.It didn't stick together as you get at fine restaurants, and it was fluffy.I loved it!The best feature (I think) about this machine is that when your rice is cooked, it automatically switches over to keep warm setting.Therefore, you can never overcook it. If you undercook it it's only because you didn't allow it to cook for the time the instructions tell you to.I am now so glad that I purchased this one.I paid $35 for it versus the $120 I would have paid for the Zojirushi 3 cup rice cooker.

This steamer worked really well.I've never steamed before but my experience thus far have been great.It's perfect for the single or couple that are looking for a quick and no mess way to fix a meal.I come home from work, put the water on, prep my food, and put it in the steamer.By the time, I've changed into casual clothes, dinner is ready.

It's opened the door to a whole new way of cooking!

Aroma 10-Cup Programmable Rice Cooker - ARC830TC Review

I had a Zojirushi NHS-10 and worked fine. I gave it to my sister-in-law...grin.

Latter I decided I wanted another cooker and just came upon this. It seemed to cheap. I ordered it from Amazon. This thing is a DEAL. We usually cook between 4-6 cups of rice at a time.It makes perfect rice, if you use the cup at 180cc..

We have 5 kids and been using this 2-4 times a month for last two years.

I like it most of all as it has limited options and cooks only rice.

Tiger America 5.5 c. Electr Rice Cooker/Warm ( JAZ-A10U ) Review

I really like brown rice so it was important for me to do ANYTHING to get a cooker to work, especially one that was smaller.

I started out with white basmati because I wanted to "give the cooker a chance" assuming it would find it easier to cook white rice. I got rice mush instead.

I tried long grain brown rice which I had soaked all day. I got brown rice mush.

I called Tiger and was told that white Basmati requires less water than other rices, and that this cooker would not cook brown rice. Well I haven't tried white basmati again yet, but I have cooked short grain brown rice several times and really like it. The trick is to soak the rice for 2 to 4 hours in advance of cooking. I like my rice a little chewy so I soak for 2 to 3 hours. Long grain brown rice is best soaked for 4 hours ahead of time.

WITH ALL RICE, MAKE SURE TO RINSE IT THOROUGHLY BEFORE COOKING.

I also like that I can make 3 cups instead of 6. Left over rice is great for breakfast with some butter, sugar and dried cherries, but you should eat the rice within a week. It will taste funny after a week in the refrigerator.

Hoffritz Healthworks 3-Tier Stainless Steel Steamer Set Review

I ordered this togive as a gift not really knowing what size it was. The description does not give a size but it is a 7 inch diameter, and so it is perfect for two people.The quality of the set is very good and it looks really great too.The glass lid is handy to see how the vegetables are doing.If I didn't already have a 10 inch double steamer set myself I would have ordered another of these as it is really really nice.Highly recommended.

Ancestry Cookery 10 Piece Hand-Hammered 14" Wok Gift Set Review

well, hard to say.first of all, this isn't for you if you have an electric stove.it just doesn't get hot enough.i even bought a second wok ring to lower it a bit and it still doesn't reach ideal heat.i'm not sure whether its' the cookware itself, or just the fact that it isn't made for an electric stove.i can tell you it is indeed hand hammered, all the pieces of the set came and were as expected.all in all it is a beautiful wok, just not sure it gets hot enough.oh, and don't try to contact the company thru the phone number they give in their instruction booklet, it's not even the right number and the people there acted like they thought i was crazy.not sure how that happens, but they give the wrong number in their own pamphlet.
