Swiss Diamond Cast-Aluminum Nonstick 7-Piece Cookware Set Review

I made a list of my likes and dislikes of all of the cookware I've ever used.

My List: Non-stick, easy cleanup, no rivets in the cooking area, clear ventable covers, no squishy handles, a durable lining to handle meats with bones, and something I wouldn't have to replace every couple of years.

After searching the internet for my perfect cookware I decided to try Swiss Diamond.So far, I'm extremely happy with it.

A word of warning though.Food really doesn't stick.I almost tossed breakfast out of the skillet one morning, when I moved it to a different burner.Needless to say, cleanup has been a breeze.

The clear ventable covers are good.I don't have to remove the lid to see if I need to turn things over.(The stove doesn't get splattered with greese, from me checking the food status every few minutes.)

I haven't cooked meats with bones in the cookware yet, but my 13 year old nephew scrambled eggs with a metal fork.Yes, I was very afraid...Absolutely no marks.So, I'm pretty sure the meats with bones won't be an issue.Turns out that diamonds are not just a girl's best friend.

Negatives: 1-The stew pot is larger than I'm use to, which impels me to cook double batches.(Although, that is a positive for left-overs and family gatherings...)2-The price was higher than what I paid for replacements, but if I don't have to get use to new cookware every couple of years, I'm good.

Update 4 Years Later:I am still very happy with this cookware. So far the bone-in meats haven't caused any damage and I like the stew pot much more than I thought I would.No loose handles.No warped bottoms. No stained lids.

Swiss Diamond 12-1/2-Inch Fry Pan Review

I was getting sick of all the non-stick skillets that would warp and scratch and fall apart after a few uses and they weren't even that cheap. I decided to search for a quality non-stick pan and this is what I found. I wanted the largest size for my big Sunday breakfasts. It's expensive but it's worth every penny. The surface is super slick and it wraps all the way around the lip and down the sides. Cleanup is easy. The heat conductivity is truly unsurpassed, and I have a lot of pans and skillets! The best part is the bottom of the pan is FLAT. If you have gone to all the trouble to level your stove, this pan makes it worthwhile. No more eggs gathering in the middle or side of your pan. Take note that this is a heavy pan. It weighs as much as a cast iron skillet, so you'll get a workout. If your wrists and arms are weak, I suggest a smaller size.

Super product. Cleanup is a breeze. The pan appears to have a really tough non-stick surface. I have only had it a couple weeks, but the performance of the pan generates confidence that it is durable.

Swiss Diamond 6-Piece Cast-Aluminum Cookware Set Review

My experience is the opposite of the reviews posted here.

I followed all instructions and cook at medium heat or lower.Yet, the only things that I cook, that is, oatmeal and congee (rice soup) both stick to the pot.I need to soak the pot in water for the food to dislodge.

Definitely NOT worth the more than $200 I spent on the set.

Better to buy a cheap teflon pan set and get better results.

My wife now prefers diamonds in her cookware instead of Teflon.After years of eating out of Teflon cookware and ingesting how many pounds of Teflon over the years, I have finally seen cookware that lives up to the name of nonstick.Instead of using Pam spray or butter on old used Teflon frying pans, I can now cook without butter, (or maybe just a touch of butter, I still love the taste) and get a perfect egg.Throw away all those old wooden utensils.You can now use metal spatula's or that old spoon to stir the pot without getting hollered at for scratching the pans.My wife is happy so I'm happy and cleanup is a snap.
