The pan is quite large and probably won't sit all the way down in your sink if you have a double sink. I currently have one large sink and it fits. When I had a double sink, the bowl would fit all the way in. But, no matter what kind of sink you have, the non-stick surface is truly non-stick. The sink sprayer will most likely get everything out except a little left on or around the metal nubs that hold the handles on. The surface also does not scratch. I've been using mine almost 3 times a week for 4 years and it practically looks brand new. (I use wire wisks in my saucepan and it looks the same as this pan.)
The size is perfect for my use. I brown hamburger for hamburger helper in this pan and have room to spare. I could fit 2 boxes if I had to. I could also fit 2 of those frozen complete meals in the same pan. So this is good for a family of 2 to a family of 6 or 8.
If you are thinking about a new pan and balk at the price tag, once you have it in your hand, you will understand. You will not be disappointed. This will be a pan you will have for years. So when your kids go off to college and need some pans for their first apartment, you can tell them, "too bad!" They can get some cheaper ones for that.
