Yamazaki Hafnia Butter Knife Review

Yamazaki Hafnia Butter KnifeHigh quality, made in japan. This is very small and thin compared to the dinner knives from the Hafnia flatware collection.

This is great for spreading butter on toast, bagels, etc. This does not do a good job for spreading cream cheese or jam.

Checkout iittala's butter knife. It does not have any serrations, but it's great for spreading anything and it goes well with the Hafnia collection.

Product Description:
Marcigny, a small town nestled between the hills of Southern Burgundy, has been home to Emile Henry for the past 150 years. Faithful to its origins, the entire production is carried out here. Thanks to its clay, rich in refractory properties, Burgundy has remained a fertile area for potters, passing on their savoir-faire from generation to generation. Clay, a natural and noble material, has been used since the mists of the time to cook or preserve food. While respecting the traditional techniques, Emile Henry has introduced technological improvements (Ceradon ) so that the dishes are more resistant to mechanical and thermal shock. Strong and durable, all Emile Henry pieces can be taken directly from the freezer to a hot oven, can go under a broiler and are microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe. The natural clay is unsurpassed for conducting and retaining heat. All pieces are perfect for everyday use and carry a 3 year warranty against defects.

Emile Henry Butter Pot, Azur Review

Emile Henry Butter Pot, AzurWe didn't know what a butter pot was until we ran across one at a cooking store. They do exactly what they are supposed to do -- keep butter fresh and at the perfect temperature for use.

But most of the pots we saw were ugly -- so ugly we would have been embarrassed to leave them out while cooking, let alone at the table. The Emile Henry pot was the first tasteful one we could find.

We're on our second, the first having lost an argument with a granite countertop.
