These have been really great. I use them often. They have saved me a lot of time. I even put them in the dishwasher. They are very convienent. They have lasted . They are stainless steel. The price was a steel for the set.They work beautiful and fast. The set comes in three different sizes. What is not to like about this set.They are Japanese import. A must for any kitchen.

Oxo Good Grips Plastic Colander, White Review

Nice heavy plastic and the handles are great.The one thing I would prefer is to have holes instead of slots for the liquid to drain through.I tend to lose more pasta through them than any other collander I've used before.

Calypso Basics 5 Quart powder coated Colander, Turquoise Review

I really love the size, shape, and weight of the colander.It is also a beautiful color, and it drains well.I do, however, have one complaint.The enamel tends to wear off at points where it is welded and then those spots rust.It happened the second day I had my first one and I had to get a replacement, it is starting to happen with the second one also.Thankfully, it is just at the bottom where no one can really see and I love it otherwise, so I will keep it.

Calypso Basics 5 Quart powder coated Colander, Lime Review

We have owned this colander for several years - it's quite sturdy and does the job. It's pretty large but you can hang it on a ceiling pot rack. However, the one complaint is that the drainage holes are placed in such a way that it drains slowly, especially when you're cooking pasta or something else which covers the bottom holes. There just isn't enough drainage to get the water out quickly. We're looking at one of the Oxo models as a replacement.
