Nopro Enamel Cast Iron Panini Press Review

The Norprp cast iron panini press is a very good and useful gadget.I had really gotten tired of using a filled-up tea kettle as the top weight on my grilled cheese sandwiches.The press has just the right amount of weight, covers a wide area on my 11-inch calphalon grill pan, and is easy to clean (just a quick wipe-and-dry).The reason I gave it four instead of five stars is that the ridges on the underside are pretty useless.You can't really heat this thing up enough on the gas burner to use it to simultaneously grill the top-side of your sandwich as the product lit promises.It never gets hot enough and loses heat as soon as it comes off the flame.So for me it's just a fancy weight -- but that's what I bought it for.

Villaware Uno Pro Press Panini Maker Grill V001 21610 001 Review

I've had this panini maker for almost a year and I just love it.It makes perfect paninis, grilled vegetables and even grilled sausages.It comes with a cleaning tool that works well for getting the majority of the food out and a clean soapy cloth does the rest.

I did a lot of research and was told that grills with removable plates don't work as well as they lose the contact with the heat.This grill has no problem with heat!

I highly recommend this panina maker.

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Panini Pan & Press Review

Perfection

This past Christmas Season, I asked for Calphalon pots and pans and oh did my wish come true! Everyone bought me a least one pot or pan! I have a wonderful family who only live to please each other, so wow did I get Calphalon! Naturally there were some duplicates, so I returned the duplicates to Amazon and shopped and shopped with all my return credits and rather whimsically found things I wanted, I had never thought of a panini pan, but I thought it was a nice looking pan, best decision I ever made.I use it all the time, and if I'm not usung the pan I'm usuing the press to keep bacon from curling, pre-heating steaks to get the crossmarks on the meat and a million other things that are not coming to mind, I love it, and wondered how I cooked without it and I've been cooking for 35 years.Try it, you'll love it!

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick Panini Pan and Press Review

I was looking at electric panini grills, but didn't really want another appliance that I would have to store on a shelf or cupboard.I found the Calphalon panini grill pan to be easy to use, clean and store.It goes on the stovetop.I preheat the pan with the stainless steel lid, while I put my sandwich together.Then I brush the pan and bread with olive oil, put the sandwich on the pan and put the lid on top of the sandwich.I let it grill for a few minutes, turn over the sandwich and grill the other side.I get those great grill marks, and the lid helps flatten the sandwich and heats it too.I've also used the pan for salmon fillets, hamburgers, sausages.It does a beautiful job.Cleans up well because it's nonstick! Easy to store as well. Love this pan!
