I bought this because of the shape and attractive,
brightly colored enamel.I remodeled my kitchen and
decided I deserved better than the durable plastic colander
I'd used for years. Sadly, the color on the underside of
the small, circular "stand" fadedafter one or two
washes in the dishwasher.After three or four cleans
in the dishwasher, there was rust, a slight amount,
