Circulon Infinite Circulon 10-1/2-Inch Covered Buffet Casserole Review

First I want to say I have always wanted this pan. Can I use the word sexy to describe this pan? Just looking at it. It's just beautiful.I have been reading about and feeling up this pan at Macy's every chance I got. I would have to be pulled away from the Circulon Infinite display. I own Analon pots and pans and they are great! It just they are this institutional gray and well they are boring. Finally the price came down some what and I bought it here at Amazon no one was there to pull me away. When my pan arrived nicely packaged. I took it out and palmed it yet again. Oh yeah dinner was on my mind. Heavy bottom took some time to heat up but when it did it was hot indeed. A hot pot! I knew just then what was for dinner! I chopped some veggies and stirred fried them, no oil. I don't know they seem too dry to me so I added some Olive oil. Much better! I then added some chicken broth, some fish sauce, a touch of rice vinegar, ginger, garlic and some crushed red pepper. I added so lo mein noodles and put the lid on.I stepped back to admire the sleek designed the slopped sides, the shiny bottom. I chopped up some left over chicken and added it. then turned off the heat. Reached for a deep bowl and some chop sticks. The smell was amazing and really I could just move the pan to a silicone place mat and just have eaten straight from the pot. It really looks that good. Dishwasher safe so they say. But it is so easy to clean it will never see the dishwasher.

Nordic Ware Chrysanthemum Bundt Pan Review

My kids oohed and ahhed just to see the mold, but when they saw the cake...! This heavyweight, non-stick pan produces a beautifully detailed cake that needs no icing at all (though a schmear of glaze or a sprinkling of powdered sugar will do nicely).

I used the lemon pound cake recipe (increased from 7 to 10 cups) from "The New Best Recipe" (highly recommended also, btw), baked it for the suggested time, glazed it, and took it to a party. Two things to note: First, the crust was not overbrowned as such, but was definitely thicker than I was expecting. Heavy dark pans such as this one do produce a browner crust. Opinion was about equally divided between those who thought the thick crust was yummy and those (like me) who thought it was too much. Next time, I'll try reducing the oven temperature by 10-15 degrees to compensate. Second, if you want to oil the pan before each use (as the packaging recommends), you'll almost have to purchase spray-on shortening or one of those "misters" that lets you use your own oil. I tried applying butter in the usual way but was foiled by the incredibly deep indentations; after digging the chunks out I tried again with vegetable oil on a paper towel... again, with less than optimum results, as it rolled right off the ridges and pooled in the low spots. Finally I wiped it all down as best I could and poured the batter anyhow. I may just do without the seasoning next time, as it released like a champ.

I'm already considering purchasing another Nordic Ware bundt pan... perhaps the fleur-de-lis? They also make a mini-pan set, which contains two each of three patterns, holding 2 cups each. The detailing on all these pans is deep and sharp and puts other shaped pans to shame. Search for "Nordic Ware bundt", pick your favorite shape, and buy it--you won't be sorry!

And hey--don't feel that you must stick to pound cakes or other traditional Bundt-type cakes with this pan. I just baked the devil's-food cake from "Baking Illustrated" in it. Spray with Pam-with-flour, then take some cocoa and dust the lubed pan with it (to avoid that white crust on the outside). Bake for about 5-7 minutes longer than you would in layer pans. Use the toothpick test for doneness (it should come out clean, or with just a tiny crumb sticking). It looked like a million dollars and tasted deelish even without icing.

Infinite Circulon 4-Quart Covered Saucepot Review

We have purchased several less expensive brands of nonstick cookware. Last year for Christmas my husband purchased a wok for me, and it was a Circulon product. Each time I used it I noticed that it was extremely easy to clean, both inside and out. Proteak Teak Cutting Board Rectangle 16-by-12-by-2-Inch with Juice Canal, End Grain Review

This is one solid cutting board much harder than oak! I believe I will have it for the rest of my life with proper care. I rubbed in edible mineral oil (get it at the pharmacy)after I first washed it in warm soapy water (air dry) and after three months it still doesn't need another treatment. The canal is deep enough for catching juices from a rib roast and for using when you cut up partially frozen chicken. It doesn't stain when you cut up red bell pepper. I use the canaled side for meat and the smooth side for vegetables. Yes, with the end grain board you can use it for everything with a proper washing in between of course AND it doesn't dull your knives.

Circulon 9-by-13-Inch Metal Cake Pan Review

Circulon, in my opinion, is fantastic.I have tried many nonstick cake pans, cookie sheets and cookware, and these are, by far, the absolute best.Nothing sticks to them at all!! You don't need non stick spray (which you shouldn't use anyway on these) or even butter or oil.Everything slides off easily.I also love the cookie sheets and would recommend them as well. They cook evenly and those things you want crispy like tater tots or fries cook perfectly.

Circulon Infinite Circulon 8-Inch Open Skillet Review

I bought the 8" skillet to supplement my 10 piece circulon Infite set.Non stick and dishwasher safe is for me.So far it's lived up to the advertising.I just toss the the cookware in to the dishwasher and it comes out great.Circulon Infite is non stick - I can't figure out how they do that but omletes come out without sticking without being sprayed and without use of oil or butter.
