Chicago Metallic Professional Extra Large Roaster Review

I've never owned one of these pans before. I'm really glad I tried this brand. This pan is great! Sturdy, and very easy to clean! I use this for both broiling, and baking. Would highly recommend!

Proctor-Silex 32190 18-Quart Roaster Oven Review

Had an emergency this year - my oven broke before Thanksgiving. As we usually host this meal, I was concerned that this year we might have to eat out or go to someone elses' house for the holiday.
I noticed this roaster on sale, bought it, and used the roaster to cook this years turkey. Some observations:
(1) The process is a little different - but the turkey was moist - resulted in favorable comments from all, (2) the roaster cooked the turkey faster than a traditional big oven, and (3) it is probably more energy efficient than a traditional oven.
Have not tried it for baking yet, but it is supposed to be okay for that also.
And in the future when more than one oven is needed - it will be my second oven.

Please let it be known that the cake pictured here is not one baked from the Nordicware pan that this Amazon listing is for.Rather, it appears to be one baked from the highly-sought, out-of-production bee hive cake pan by Martha Stewart.The M. KitchenAid Flat Floating Rack Roaster with Lifters Review

There are few good roasting pans to be had in this price range.

I've used this pan but five times so far for chicken and for roasted potatoes. Unlike most others, when the rack is inserted it is suspended above the pan bottom so as to not scratch the coating. The coatings on pan & rack are very effective as both clean up easily after use.

The main question yet to be answered is whether the coating integrity will pass the Pan Gravy Test.

Paderno World Cuisine Trussing Needle, Stainless Steel Review

This works fine for small birds but could be a couple inches longer to go after a turkey. I'm not sure why the end is curved which makes it a bit more difficult to gauge where you will come out the other side when going through the cavity of the bird. I'll probably forge the curve out of it. The use of stainless steel is a bonus, strong and obviously won't rust.

Nifty Home Products The Nifty Lifter Review

I can't use this product because when I put the turkey on it, it won't fit in my oven. I would warn anyone to check the size of their oven before purchasing this item.I never thought my oven was too small before. I wish I could return it but I don't have the packaging.
