How can you go wrong with something this simple? You can't unless it's a cheap piece of wood but this is NOT... this is a quality pin, beautifully finished, fits the hand perfectly, and from rolling out laminated doughs for croissant, to pie crusts, hey even using it to pound (well covered in plastic wrap) chicken breasts paper thin... this is a tool that gets some USE! Great buy!

I use these all of the time for custard, pate and other small prtions.Porcelain is good but fragile.Nevertheless, these dishes are sturdy and large enough for a good sized portion.
