Calphalon One Nonstick 5-Quart Saucier with Steamer Insert Review

Good Stuff. This is an outstanding piece of cookware that I picked up for $99 @ williams-sonoma. The lid is nice thick glass and the insert is high quality stainless steel. I use the steamer insert mostly to strain pasta, but I have steamed a few veggies in it. I primarily use it to cook pasta, because absolutely nothing sticks to the surface. You can leave it sitting on the stove overnight (important if you're cooking for a date) and not even dried, cheesy, crusty pasta will stick to it. All you have to do is blow on it and it comes right off. It's great.

Another nice thing about this cookware is its amazing heat conduction and temperature control. On an old gas range with fairly weak burners, it typically takes about 7-8 minutes to bring the full 5 quarts from room temperature to a roaring boil. I'd like to see any other cookware do that.

Calphalon One cookware is simply the best in the world.

Hoffritz Healthworks 3-Tier Stainless Steel Steamer Set Review

I ordered this togive as a gift not really knowing what size it was. The description does not give a size but it is a 7 inch diameter, and so it is perfect for two people.The quality of the set is very good and it looks really great too.The glass lid is handy to see how the vegetables are doing.If I didn't already have a 10 inch double steamer set myself I would have ordered another of these as it is really really nice.Highly recommended.

Calphalon One Nonstick 10-Inch Glass Lid Review

This lid is different from the Calphalon lid offered at Target, and more expensive too.This one has a bevelled edge, and will fit pans with an inside diameter from 9 1/2 inches to 10 1/2 inches.I bought it for the "Calphalon Commercial Nonstick 10-Inch International Griddle/Crepe Pan", which has a 9 3/4 inch inside diameter.This lid might work for you if your "antique" Calphalon lid is too big, as was the case for me.

Gourmet Chef Stainless Steel Dutch Ovens Review

This product is nothing special. By that, I mean it's not an amazing piece of cookware that makes your food magically perfect. Rather, it does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does so at a great rediculously low price. I bought this pot because I wanted a stainless steel pot in which I could make my Mexican rice and slow-cooking dishes. And it does all of those things well. The sides are slightly on the thin side, but the bottom is a bit thicker and heats quickly. If you're looking for a very inexpensive stainless steel pot for your basic cooking needs, you can't go wrong here. I can't predict how long it will last, but at a little over $11, I'll be satisfied if I get a good 3 years out of it.

This is the best pot, bar none, for its size that I have ever used or tried. I love to cook, so I have many different models and brands, including earlier Calphalon models, of this sized pot but had never been completely satisfied.

Simply Calphalon Nonstick 12-Inch Everyday Pan Review

I use my non-stick 10" skillet everyday but found I was coming up short with the number of pierogis I could cook at a time.I have also learned not to invest megabucks in non-stick cookware.I settled on this pan after reading reviews in Cook's Illustrated and have been very pleased.It's become a staple in making and serving spaghetti sauce, egg dishes, and yes, pierogis.It is giving my 10" a run for the money.The light weight, the glass lid, the easy-clean surface just make for a great all round pan.One word of caution, it is not at all deep sided.Think of it as abig omlette pan.
