Martha Stewart Collection Multi-Color Prep Bowls, Set of 6 Review

I have two sets of these and have rapidly found them indispensable in my kitchen.I keep two by the stove for salt and ground pepper, one for my rings for baking and the rest for prepping.They are a handy size and quite sturdy.They wash easily and look great.I hesitated to buy them because they are not from Amazon.com and I was reluctant to pay for shipping.I am glad that I did.

Frieling USA C182071 Cilio Olivewood Wok Spatula, 12-nch Review

I use this tool daily.Not only is it beautiful,but it does a great job of stirring the pot.Much more effective than a plain wooden spoon.The flat bottom is good for deglazing.

Mario Batali 5-Piece Measuring Prep Bowl Set, Espresso Review

These bowls are terrific. They have not replaced our measuring cups, but are a great supplement. The fact that each bowl is not one but two measures (for instance, the 2 cup bowl has a halfway mark on the inside that marks 1 cup) make it very easy to measure out things like chocolate chips, cut herbs, even sour cream. The halfway mark also makes it easy to do things like oatmeal or rice, when you need one cup of something mixed with two cups of something else. This set is great for both cooking and measuring portions if you are watching what you eat. In addition to measuring, they make great prep bowls, even if you aren't trying to measure anything. I love the fact that they are dishwasher safe.

The only real problem is a lack of a 1/3-2/3 bowl. This seems like an obvious thing to include, and sometimes we really wish we had one. Not having this bowl is what has earned this product four instead of five stars.

Lodge Enamel Dutch Oven Review

This dutch oven is simply great. It's hefty, beautiful, and cooks like a dream. The handle is really neat, too. The quality of the pan is top-notch. It cooks well and cleans up with ease. (...)

The pan does appear to be made in China to Lodge's specifications. It's clearly a Lodge pan with their name engraved on the handles. It doesn't bother me in the least, but if that's something that bothers you than best of luck.

For me, I have found a pan that's going to be in my kitchen for the rest of my life.

Mario Batali 13-by-9-Inch Lasagna Deep Dish Pan, Persimmon Review

This is a great looking 9x13 pan with good proportions.It is really deep and makes a great tall lasagna.It is extremely heavy when fully loaded with a lasagna.Its bulk gives it even cooking in the oven, but can be difficult to get out of the oven after your lasagna is done.I have made many other things in this pan with great results.It is fairly non-stick and has not stained even after several lasagnas.The enamel is fairly bulletproof.

Overall I really like this pan, with its only weakness being heft.However, that heft is put to good use in very even cooking and keeping the lasagna warm at the table.

You won't be disappointed.
