Doughmakers Pizza Pan 12-in. Review

I highly recommend this pizza pan and all other Doughmakers bakeware.I have and use various Wilton and Kaiser sheets and pans but after repeatedly using a small Doughmakers sheet which I received free with the purchase of a pie tin, I decided to buy a whole collection by Doughmakers.I have found all the sheets and pans to be most satisfactory.Only for some recipes would I consider using a stone, which I have not done because I have not been bothered to take the time to warm a stone in my standard convection oven.No brick oven here.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Bakeware 14-Inch Pizza Pan Review

This is, by far, the best add-it-to-my-cart-to-get-free-shipping purchase I've ever made.The pizzas come out perfect and there's absolutely no sticking.

I only use this pan to make pizza with fresh, hand-made dough.For those having problems with the holes in the pan, I recommend rolling the dough on the counter and once you've stretched it to the size of the pan, lay the dough on the pan.If you roll the dough directly on the pan, it will press through the holes.

I've had this for almost four years, making around one pizza a month and it still performs as-new.

Universal Housewares Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Pizza Pan Review

I just love this pre seasoned pan.It did not come with that nasty waxy coating on it that gives off a heinous odor when heated.It was ready to use....after a washing of course...

I have yet to make a pizza on it, but have used it for numerous other meals.

Calphalon Classic Bakeware 16-Inch Round Nonstick Pizza Pan Review

This is my second pizza pan, my other is a deep dish and is not coated.This pan is definitely my favorite, it produces a nice thin crust and even crisp cooking. The size at 16" is just right for a family of 4. The non-stick works really well but keep in mind you need a big cutting board toslide the pizza on to cut it as you cannot cut on this pan.

Farberware Insulated Pizza Pan and Cookie Sheet Baking Set Review

I finally found a great cookie sheet!The cookies slide right off the cookie sheet.You actually have to be careful not to tip them off the sheet.No sticking at all.Be sure to face the tip of the sheet towards the oven opening in order to get them out of the oven safely.The other amazing thing is the cleanup.Just a little soap and water.No scraping.It is necessary to bake a little longer than your recipe calls for, but there is no burning cookies on these sheets.My sister-in-law has Rema cookie sheets which I just love but hadn't been able to find.These are just as good.I tried several other brands (Wearever was one) and ended up returning them. They stuck terribly. I have the very large 20" ,Farberware 52152 Insulated Bakeware 15-1/2-by-20-Inch Jumbo Cookie Sheet The size is perfect.It fits the entire shelf of my oven.I also have the two-piece set with the smaller cookie sheet and pizza crisper. Farberware Insulated Bakeware Value Pack The pizza crisper does a really nice job on frozen pizzas.No soggy crust.I reheated part of a pizza on it, and some cheese baked on.It rinsed off with hot water and no scraping.Farberware has done a great job again!

Winware Aluminum Pizza Trays with Wide Rim Review

Aluminum is one of the better metals to use as a pizza pan.It's not only light weight, it conducts the oven heat very well...certainly better than the cardboard that comes under most frozen pizzas!This results in much crisper pizza crust coming out of the oven.

The downside of aluminum is that it's soft.It's virtually impossible to use a pizza cutter without leaving star-shaped scratches on the pan.Unless you're planning on hanging the thing on the wall, this doesn't really affect anything.(And, if you're hanging these on your wall, I highly suggest that you fire your decorator..)

Conclusion:They're cheap.They work.Buy the sizes you need and plan on recycling them when they eventually get completely trashed.

Mario Batali 14-Inch Pizza Pan, Persimmon Review

This pan is great from the design point of veiw; except that its handle is made so fragile. It could break easily if not handled with care. When I first received it, the packing was poorly done and because of that the handle was broken. I observed the handle and noticed that it could break easily if not handled with care. But the baking surface is excellent and the look is excellent too. So I re-ordered it and I am hoping that this time I will get it in tact.
Well, I finally got the second shipment. I still think the packaging is poor for such a fragile item. The packaging from the manufacturer is itself not good; to top it off Amazon's packing was poor also; which is very unusual. Hopefully this will serve as a constructive criticism for future improvement.
