I have several other Unison pieces. I decided to grab the little soup pot while it was on sale. It's a perfect size for 2-4 servings of soup or pasta sauce and fits easily into the dishwasher for cleanup.
Nothing sticks and in this instance (unlike the omelette pans) the lid fits securely.
I have used it for soup, pasta, a small pot roast (goes from stovetop to oven without a problem) and even making hard boiled eggs.
I cook without recipes and have a tendency to cook to the limits of the pot I'm using, so this petite soup pot keeps me from making soup for 12 when I meant to make soup for four.
I've used Calphalon pans for almost 20 years and the Unison's ability to be put into the dishwasher is the main reason why I'm slowly replacing my older pots with these.
