Kitchen Aid Cookware: Earthpan 10-pc. Stainless Steel Cookware Set Review

The stainless steel Earth Pans are wonderful.I have owned them for over five months and feel that they are the best pans I've ever owned. They cook things evenly and require less cooking time and less heat than previous pans I have owned.

When I make an omelet, even though the manufacturer advised not to use sprays because they may leave a residue, I use a very light coating of canola spray and wipe away excess before cooking.I have never seen or felt any residue.And the omelet is almost always perfect!

The cookware has a nice solid feel, and pan handles are cool to the touch.Lids handles are hot though!Stainless steel pans are dishwasher safe, although they clean so easily that I often prefer to hand wash them.I love the little 1 1/2 quart saucepan because it has steep sides and things don't boil over as easily.The finish has held up very well for me, but I treat it carefully. I can honestly say that there isn't a scratch on it and I use it every day.

This cookware is not for the person who uses lots of oil or who starts something cooking on high heat and doesn't keep an eye on it, because these pans cook more quicklythan other pans.
