I've always been hesitant to purchase a portable tea infusing mug because there's rarely a good way to prevent over-steeping.Sure, you could empty the infuser, but that's a potentially messy process and it is not really easy to do when you're on the go.That's what makes this thing amazing - the infuser lifts out of the water, but stays contained in the mug.I've only had it a few days, so it remains to be seen how it holds up to regular use, but overall I'm very pleased.
