It's a great stone and it's beautiful after after putting it in some oil. The food cooks amazingly good, no odors, no smoke just great. But the second time I used it the stone cracked from one side..... It still works but I was very dispointed . I will try and contact the manufacturers......Hope this helps, leave the stone for more than half an hour in 350 F and the additional burner does help a lot.
