
Although thin and lightweight, Epicurean boards are very strong and the material helps your blade last a long time. I am amazed this product survives the dishwasher. It comes out safely sanitized with no warping or discoloration every time. The board surface does develop cuts with useage, but that is what keeps your blade safe.
The slotted liquid capture saves you from juices dripping on the counter top or the floor. But it isn't really designed well to transfer these juices to a gravy. Attempting to pour out any captured liquid into anything smaller than a sink can be a challenge.
I wish this board had the snap on silicone corners to help stabilize it like some other Pinzon boards. you will likely need a bar towel to keep this board from sliding around on most counter tops.
