I own a few pieces of Demeyere cookware including this Atlantis Dutch Oven, the Proline 12.6" fry pan, and the Maxigrill.I wished I owned more of it as Demeyere cookware simply the best cookware available - bar none.Life would be a lot more pleasant if one could go through it with a complete set of Demeyere cookware.

It features a base made of seven different alloys including stainless steel and an aluminum core. The layers extend from the base up to the rim of the Dutch oven for excellent heat conduction. A unique surface treatment removes impurities from the polished stainless-steel surface, so it remains silvery white, even after years of cleaning in the dishwasher. The pan's stay-cool, cast stainless-steel handles are welded without rivets (where food and grease often stick). A heavy, stainless-steel lid fits tightly over the drip-free rim, which makes pouring prepared foods quick and clean, even at the table. All Demeyere Atlantis cookware is dishwasher safe and oven safe to 600 degrees F. Safe for all stovetops, it's very efficient when using induction cooking.
