I've used this kind of deep-fryer a lot; it's the kind my mother used when I was growing up.I have lots of Farberware, so I know I will love it.When I first bought my Farberware 4-qt. saucepan, there was a choice of the long handle or two small ones.I bought the one with two small handles and I've always been sorry I didn't get the other kind.I've been looking for one for a long time, and was told Farberware didn't make them anymore(all they have now are the ones with two handles).So now--I'll get the pan I want, and a deep fryer to boot, and if the hole in the top is a problem, I've already got one without a hole.And, if you've ever bought Farberware, you know that this is a great price on a great product.
