This is a great dispenser!It holds a lot & yet is fairly small space wise.It's great for all kinds of snacks...pistachios, almonds, m&m's etc., it's great if you want portion control but also great if don't!You can spin once or keep spinning til your happy :-) we do put a little bowl underneath it to catch the almond salt & we did that for pistachio's also (we bought black so it looks messy if you don't) but that also works good for taking the bowl to the couch ;-) I'm not sure if we'll need the bowl for things like m&m's (we'll see) but overall, we are very satisfied!
